Review : Sigma F15 & Sigma F80 Giveaway - CLOSED

Saturday, June 4, 2011
Hi all, so this is a little extra to carry on from my 100 followers giveaway which is now closed.

When I hit 100 blog followers I was able to re-apply for my Sigma Affiliate status as I am now in a different category. My application was successful so the lovely people over at Sigma agreed to send me an F80 brush and provide another for a giveaway. I explained that I already own the F80 as I had previously won it in a giveaway, so they very kindly allowed me to pick another brush of the same value! I went for the F15 blush/powder brush.

First impressions - the usual simple neat design. I like that it states on the brush the purpose for which it should be used. The brush is soooo soft! I was amazed at the softness of the F80, this is even softer! I don't think I'll bother smoothing my cats any more because this is so much nicer!

I read some reviews that said that this brush worked well for applying foundation. I had a go at it with some mouse foundation and it did blend it in well but I won't go replacing my F80 with this, the F80 to me is the mother of all foundation brushes! This brush isn't really sturdy enough for foundation in my opinion, which is probably why it isn't sold as a foundation brush!

I then attempted to use this brush for one of its purposes, loose powder. It works very well for applying loose powder, it blends it in effortlessly and leaves your skin looking flawless and smooth. I have always used the puff provided with powder to apply it but won't after using this brush, the difference is amazing and it blends in so quickly!

I also used this brush to apply my bronzer and some blusher. Again it worked very well for both of these. I've always used quite a big brush for bronzer and blusher, I think I will continue to use my bigger brush for bronzer but for blusher the F15 is perfect. The size of this brush is ideal as it makes applying the brush so easy, you don't go overboard and cover half of your face by mistake!

I highly recommend this brush for both loose powder and blusher. You can buy the brush from Sigma for $16 dollars, this works out as just under £10, for the quality of this brush this is an amazing price!
