You may recall from my week in post that the generous Zoe sent me a pair of Kiss Ever Ez Lashes to try out.
I received the lashes in 06, there are a few varieties available, these are one of the more natural pairs.
I'm sure by now you've heard the concept of these little gems. They come with 'strings' on either side which means that getting the lash close to the lash line is a lot easier.
They say : "False eyelashes can be such a pain in the eye...or at least they used to be. NEW Kiss Ever Easy False Eyelashes and their red easy place strings make applying lashes a SNAP!"
I applied like usual, which isn't ever very successful. No matter how hard I try my lashes never meet the line properly at the inside corner.
I waited until I was happy that the glue had dried properly. I then used the string to pull the inside corner loose and apply a little more glue to it. This isn't what the instructions tell you to do but I found that the glue was no longer sticking.
I then re-stuck the lashes and pulled down with the strings. When I had the lash in the desired place I held it down for approximately 10 seconds, after which I carefully tugged the strings away.
As you can see the lash applied very neatly.
I only applied the lash to my right eye for comparison purposes. As you can see there really isn't much of a difference and this false lash do look very natural.
I finished with a slick of eyeliner, and voilĂ , natural looking easy to apply eye lashes!
The strings are re-usable. As you can see there are tiny little holes in each end of the lash, you can thread the strings through these to re-use.
The downsides are that the 'strings' are more like really thin wires which means that they bend quite easily. As a result they can bend in different directions and be quite difficult to get hold of! They are also difficult to find if you drop them on the floor!
I absolutely love the concept of these lashes and will definitely be trying more. I do like my false lashes to be a bit more fluttery than this particular one, the Boots website show 10 different choices so I'm sure I'll be able to find a nice fluttery pair!
These lashes are available for £6.50 from Boots.com. and in store. If they don't stock these in your local Boots store they do offer free delivery to a store of your choice on their website.
Have you tried these lashes? Did they make application easier for you?
*Please note that I was sent these lashes as a gift, I am in now way affiliated with Kiss and all opinions are my own.*
