St David's Shopping Centre, Cardiff

Wednesday, November 9, 2011
Hi all, following on from the amazing blogger event hosted for us by St David's I thought it would be a good idea to show you some of what Cardiff has to offer. A lot of people aren't aware of just how much Cardiff has to offer.

St David's opened back in 2009 and recently celebrated their second birthday. They were actually the largest shopping centre to open in Europe that year. The shopping centre has attracted a record breaking 75 million visitors in the two years that it has been open.

Shops in St David's include Cath Kidston, Jo Malone, Nike, Lego, Boux Avenue, Clas Ohlson, Pumpkin Patch, John Lewis (the biggest outside of London), Hugo Boss, Radley, Links of London, Cult, Warehouse, Lakeland, Hollister, Jane Norman, La Senza, New Look, Oasis, Paperchase, Peacocks, Select, Warehouse and H&M.

You can view the full list of stores on their website.

One of the stores that stands out to me is Boux Avenue

Boux Avenue currently only have seven stores in the UK, Cardiff is lucky enough to host one of those. The Boux Avenue chain is owned by Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den. Their bras start from just £12 and are all very high quality. They offer a fitting service and have a huge variety of lingerie, nightwear, swimwear, gifts, home accessories, bath & beauty and fashion accessories.

Another great plus to St David's shopping centre is the amount of food places. They have a huge selection of restaurants and cafes plus two American Candy stalls :) My favourite cafe is the Krispy Kreme Coffee shop.
