OOTD & NOTD : Children in Need - Something Spotty

Yesterday we had a dress down day in work and had to wear something spotty. We had to donate £2 to Children in Need and were then allowed to wear our own clothes. I did my nails spotty as I didn't think I had any spotty clothes, then I remembered my bargain £5 polka dot dress from Asda.

OOTD & A plea for advice...

Hi girls, a late one from me tonight! I've been shopping, done some housework and packed a few things in readiness to post tomorrow. Phew, a lot of work for the a plonk my bum on the sofa as soon as I get home from work type that I am! Just enough time to do a quick outfit post and catch up on all of your wonderful posts before going to bed!

This is what I wore when I went shopping Saturday...

I thought I'd quickly show you my face as well because I'm wearing my ELF gel liner in 'gunmetal' here and I love it! I'm still new to applying liner on the top lash but I'm slowly getting there! I'm not wearing a lot of other make up here, just the usual Rimmel 25 hour foundation, Rimmel blusher & Rimmel powder. I can't remember what I had on on my lips sorry! *bad blogger*

Plea for advice...

The second part of the post is me, asking you, my lovely readers, for help! I've got a Christening coming up at the end of the month. Its at a Church followed by an evening reception - what does one wear to a Christening? Its a Sunday church affair so I don't really feel like I should be getting all dolled up!

I did see the below dress in my local Peacocks today and I do have Peacocks vouchers so that would be ideal, is it suitable for a Christening? Is it too casual? ARRRGGHHH I have no idea!!!

Hi all

What have you been up to this weekend? Yesterday I went to Primark with my sister and my niece, we then went into Zoopa Doopa, a kids play thing in Cwmbran. It was my first time there, it was great and Gracie loved it. Not sure if I could cope going there again though. Some parents just don't give a damn! They go there, sit in the cafe and leave their kids to it. As a result their kids get away with doing what the hell they want, one knocked Gracie off her chair when she was eating her food! A little girl decided to ride her bike through the cafe area and went smack into Gracie's chair, where were the parents?? There were a few other incidents that riled me included kids going down the slides then climbing back up them which meant no one else could go on them. Some people just don't care. Rant over.

I only went into Primark for the bag, as usual I came out with a lot more! I've been wanting a pair of Palazzo trousers for a while now but haven't been able to find any short enough for my little legs, I saw these and decided just to get them and speak nicely to my mother in the hope that she will hem for them me. The mirror will be returned, I know it only cost £1 but as I have tried showing here the light is ridiculously bright plus £1 is a lot of money in Primark! I may return the dress too, not quite sure yet. It just doesn't seem to sit right on me. Isn't the belt the cutest belt ever?

FOTN & OOTN Cardiff Night Out

Hiya :) As most of you will know I went to Cardiff last night and got pretty piddled! As always I drank way too much, today is very much a PJ day for me! I took some quick outfit and face photos, sorry that they aren't the best, I was in a rush to go out so didn't have time to get the tripod out!

As mentioned in my last blog post I went to a evening wedding do last night. I never know what to wear when just going in the evening, I just decided to wear my newest dress! This dress is from Ebay and cost just £9.50, I had so many compliments on it too, no one could believe how cheap it was!

OOTD & Barry Island Trip

Hi all

As you probably know its my birthday today :) Therefore this is a scheduled post! If you follow me on Twitter and/or regularly read my blogs you may know that I LOVE Barry Island and that I went there on Sunday. Barry Island to some is horrific! I, however, love it! It is just your typical tacky seaside resort. It has got even more tacky since Gavin & Stacey took off, there are now Gavin & Stacey souvenirs everywhere!
