Bargain Hauling

Sunday, November 20, 2011
Hi guys :) I feel like I haven't posted a haul for ages! I'm trying to cut down on spending and I guess that shows on my blog!

Spencer and I have had  a very successful day today, we've finished most of our Christmas shopping and both bought a few items that we needed, all at great prices. I love days like this!

Christmas party dress - £17 Primark

Christmas party glittery brogues (I've given up on heels) - £12 Primark

Duffle coat - £10 down from £25 Primark

After we got everything we wanted in town we went to Raglan Garden Centre, it is the most amazing garden centre ever! I could have easily spent a couple of hundred pound in there (we did manage £80!). Most of what we bought there is presents, they do lovely bath bombs, soaps and Welsh food & boooze. I couldn't resist these items for myself.

Santa Balls 'Ho Bloody Ho' bauble £2.99

Heart £1.99

OOTD & Primark Buys

Saturday, September 10, 2011
So I've been to Primark today, for a change! I'm surprised the staff don't know me on a first name basis by now!

I took a few things back from my last trip. I've also learnt a tip when shopping in Primark. Always buy something that you will need to return, in my local Primark the queue at the returns desk is always much shorter!

This is what I wore to go shopping (one day I will learn how to pose):

with flash, without flash, jewellery
 Top & Jeans - Primark
Brogues - Peacocks
All Jewellery - Flutter Face via eBay
World cup nails - post to follow...

These are the bargains of the day...

Have you been buying anything lately? I need to stop buying!

Primark Haul :)

Friday, September 2, 2011
Hi guys, how are you all? What a lovely sunny day it is today! I'd given up on nice weather so had quite a shock today as it is actually warm and sunny! How lucky was I to have booked today off work :)

I was supposed to be getting the house ready for my guests that are visiting tomorrow, but instead I took a trip to town!

As per usual the majority of my buys were in Primark. Here is what I bought:

2 Pillow cases £3 - I have been thinking of my guests for part of today, these are for the spare bed!
Socks reduced to £1

Brogues £10 - I'm now in love with brogues so decided I could do with some for work

Colour block vest £4 - This top is like a tend but it looks nice with the jeans (below)

Skinny jeans with belt £14 - As you probably know I tend to live in dresses. That is because I feel comfortable in dresses. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone by wearing more trousers.

Gloves £4 - Who could resist these?

Belt £1 - annoyingly I picked the wrong size up and its too small, must go back and change it for a bigger one

Dress £15 - I saw this dress on Eloise's blog, she had in white. I decided I needed it! I was going to buy the white one but fell in love with this colour. The only annoying thing about it is that it is short so I will have to wear thick tights or leggings with it :(

My local Wilkinsons have just started stocking Rimmel and Collection 2000. The Rimmel nail varnishes were 2 for £4 so I picked up these two.

Collective Haul

Monday, August 29, 2011
As I'm sure you're probably aware by now, I have a huge problem, I am addicted to spending. It really needs to stop but I can't resist pretty things, especially bargains!!

I've bought loads this past week, some because they were bargains, others because I went shopping in Reading and felt obliged!

ASDA polka dot dress, reduced to £5

new bowl for Flick, she isn't a kitten but it was reduced to £2 and I'm a sucker for pink!

new bowl for Kitty, this was more expensive than Flick's at around the £5 mark, but it is so apt I had to get it!

Holland & Barrett, the box on the left was a free sample, the tablets cost around £6.50

MAC foundation and pump, around the £23 mark, you can see my review of the product and the whole MAC experience here

There isn't anywhere near me that sells OPI (not that I know of anyway). I saw Sally's in Wokingham so decided to treat myself to my first full size bottle! This cost £10.99

I needed something in which to store my palettes so decided to get the famous Paperchase butterfly letter holder, along with a little notebook to keep a note of my Weight Watchers dieting. The palette storage was about £8 and the book about £3.

The brogues were on sale in Peacocks for £8, I have a new found love for brogues so couldn't resist these! The socks were 3 for 2

Bobbles, £0.50 Primark. I'm sure the butterfly will annoy me if it doesn't fall off before I break it off!

Tan fur trimmed boots, Primark £15. These are so cute I couldn't leave them there for that price!

Necklace, £3 Primark.

PJ bottoms, £5. A few of us were eyeing these up at the Bristol blogger meet as they are so warm and comfy! (They're fleecy) I saw them again and had to buy them, I forgot to take my PJs to Reading with me so this was the perfect excuse!

PJ top, £3 Primark.

Scarf, £3 Primark

My favourite bow tights have just laddered so I picked up these two pairs, £2.50 each, Primark.

Coloured tights, £2 each Primark

Three tier cake stand, £4.99 Robert Dyas. Its pretty, enough said.

What have you been buying lately? As you can see from my purchases I am attracted to a lot of orange lately and am so pleased to see this colour everywhere.
